THE EU GCA

The UE GCA (Unité Expérimentale des Grandes Cultures d'Auzeville) of the INRAE Occitanie-Toulouse Centre is in charge of setting up field crop experiments for INRAE research units as well as with other partners (GEVES, EPLEFPA Toulouse-Auzeville, technical institutes...).

Its activity is structured around "cropping systems" trials in large plots on the one hand and micro-patch trials for varietal evaluation or the detailed analysis of innovative methods (associated crops, CIMS, double cropping, etc.) on the other hand.

It plays a major role in the development of high-throughput phenotyping.
