Controlled phenotyping

Controlled phenotyping

The phenotyping offer in controlled conditions

TPMP is an installation that allows the "phenotyping" of plants at high throughput in perfectly controlled conditions.

Dedicated to biotic and abiotic interactions, the TPMP offer is composed as follows :

The construction of a partnership, research collaboration or research service with a public or private laboratory.
The design of the experimental devices and the definition of the characters sought and the phenotyping to be carried out.
The high flow rate phenotyping in conditions of temperature, irrigation, CO2 and controlled light, in two distinct areas depending on the plant material being tested :
  • Phenopsis (optimalog), a space that can accommodate 504 plants phenotyped at high flow rate by multispectral and fluorescence sensors,
  • A 210m² greenhouse equipped with conveyors for phenotyping using RGB cameras, fluorescence sensors and near-infrared sensors.
Phenotyping of micro-organisms using an Omnilog robot (capacity 50*96 plates). Combined with the "Biolog" device, this tool allows :
  • The identification of microorganisms,
  • Testing their antibiotic sensitivity,
  • The identification of the function of certain genes by setting up comparison devices,
  • the monitoring of kinetics of metabolic activities over several days under different experimental conditions (C and N sources, stress resistance (pH, T°, osmolarity), antibiotic resistance.
The potential use of 6 culture chambers for the preparation of experimental material, with control of temperature (15-25°C), irrigation (on request) and lighting (LED with 2 levels of intensity) :
  • 3 rooms equipped with 12 racks, i.e. a net working area of 9.3m².
  • 3 rooms equipped with 2 racks each, i.e. 3.25m² of net working area
